1. Get a pendulum, or thread a ring on a piece of string. You’ll need at least 18cm of string.

2. Hold the string between your thumb and forefinger.

3. Put your hand underneath the pendulum, leaving space for it to swing (when you’re proficient, you won’t need your hand there).

4. Now ask the pendulum to show you ‘Yes’. Watch carefully – the pendulum will swing of its own accord*! Note the direction of the swing: clockwise, anti-clockwise, North-South or East-West

5. Stop the pendulum. Now repeat asking for ‘No’. Note direction of swing.

6. Stop the pendulum. Now repeat asking for ‘Maybe’. Note direction of swing.

7. You can now ask your pendulum questions. You can also use it to find lost objects (hold it over a line-drawing plan of your house or location), list crystals and watch the swing to determine the best; choose the best colour to wear, etc. etc.

8. A final tip – DO NOT bother trying to use it to get the lottery numbers. It won’t work ... if it did we’d all be in the Bahamas!

*Approximately 80% of people, in my experience, can do this straight away!
